The is an online earth resistance monitoring system for railways. It continuously measures earth resistance in real time, displays the value digitally, and raises audio-visual alarms if resistance crosses a pre-set threshold. It uses a split-core sensor, so it retrofits onto existing earthing without disconnection. It carries IP-54 protection and RS485 communication, and was inspected by Intertek India (Certificate No. 3048409).
Under RDSO specification SPN/197, earth resistance at the Main Equipotential Earth Busbar (MEEB) must not exceed 1 ohm for signalling installations with solid-state components (electronic interlocking, digital axle counters, data loggers), and 10 ohms for conventional signalling equipment. Continuous monitoring catches drift between scheduled manual tests.

Rising leakage current is the earliest warning sign of SPD degradation, so the 2530 lets maintenance teams replace devices before they fail silently.
